Braxted Park is a stunning Queen Anne house surrounded by unique parkland, in the heart of the Essex countryside. It has been the family home of the Clark family since Allan Clark purchased it in 1946 and has been a large, stately wedding venue for a number of years. The entrance to Braxted Park is a long tree lined driveway, framing the house beautifully at the end. This venue has many wonderful features that make it great for wedding photography. I like the fountain and the garden, but prefer to get away from the obvious places that you would expect for wedding photography. The huge Chestnut tree by the lake can make a great spot for summer evening portraits. Warm light from the setting sun filters through the leaves and creates a very nice romantic feel. The marque is huge and can cater for wedding parties in excess of 300 guests.
