Here is a selection of my favourite Anyhoe Park wedding pictures from a truely spectaular day. The delightful Bonnie and the debonair Martin.
During my travels as a wedding photographer I meet some really interesting folk from all walks of life. Some have quite diverse occupations. However, photographing the wedding of two stunt doubles from the movies is surely going to take some beating. I had a joke or two with Bonnie during our pre-wedding phone conversation about the service. Would she come crashing through the Orangery windows on a rope while Martin Sky dived from an ancient biplane? Or perhaps a full staircase tumble in her wedding dress? Certainly could have made some pretty unique wedding imagery.
I’m glad to say that both Bonnie and Martin chose a more traditional route. What a visually stunning expression of pure love it made. Bonnie just looked fantastic. A pink Vera Wang dress. Martin, a picture of cool composure and sartorial style.
A little about the venue. Aynhoe Park wedding pictures are unique. The venue is a blend of classic architecture, a collection of stucco and a the weird and wonderful. It’s a totally individual vision of the owner James Perkins. His creativity and taste a trademark of his fantastic 90’s dance music parties and record label. (Yes, I did the rave scene and loved every moment of it 🙂
After the ceremony in the Orangery, the guests were served canapes and drinks out of the lawn, with the rolling Oxfordshire countryside as a backdrop. Using the gardens made great Aynhoe Park wedding pictures of the bridal party and families. As ever the amazing library hosted some more group shots of the guys and a couple of nice posed wedding images of Bonnie.
A wonderful day in the company of some great people. Martin and Bonnie, my best wishes for a lifetime full of happiness together.
