Essex wedding photography. Cat and Matt, Gaynes Park
There is something truly magical about Essex wedding photography this time of year. With the weather gods on your side, the light can be spectacular. Tree’s take on a wonderful golden hue that works beautifully with the low and soft sun. Cat and Matt were gifted with such a day at Gaynes Park. A great Essex wedding venue. I have worked at Gaynes Park for a number of years. The grounds have matured and just look amazing in the Autumn.
On to the day itself. What a fantastic couple to meet and work with. Matt always smiling and gifted with a dry sense of humour. Cat, looking just amazing. All boxes ticked to make this a great day to photograph.
The girls prepared in the Apple Loft, while the guys were in the Coach House. Guests arrived and took their places in The Orangery awaiting the start of the service.
The light and colour as the bridal party approached via The Long Walk, could not have been better. Warm. Golden and a wonderful sight to see. Nina from PianoDJ playing so skillfully in the background. With the formalities complete, it was time to enjoy the outside with drinks and canapes.
Leaves on the lawn. The light filtering through the trees. The perfect spot for some group shots. I’ve worked hard on these this year. Using chairs and posing techniques to make the formals shots so much more visually appealing. I’m very happy with the bridal party shot below. Even if the ‘litt’luns’ were not keen on keeping still for just a few seconds!
Toastmaster Ted Prior guided the guests to the Mill Barn, while I took Cat and Matt for a few Essex wedding photography portraits.
Day drifted into night. James from PinoDJ doing a first class job encouraging all onto the dance floor. Not that much encouragement was needed.
Cat and Matt. Such a warm couple and a joy to capture their special day at Gaynes Park.
