My busy December continued with Dinesh and Hannah and their Gosfield Hall Christmas photography. Although it was still mild in Essex, the rain was going to play a major part on how the day was photographed. I tend to shoot a lot inside with Christmas weddings. It’s a lot more comfortable for the family and guests, so groups tend to by lit and styled in a room. I’ve been shooting these crafted group shots for some considerable time now and they seem very popular with my clients.
Dinesh and Hannah. A great couple. Generously good looking. Incredibly down-to-earth and both gifted with a great sense of humour. Add an equally friendly wedding party and this had all the ingredients for a really enjoyable days photography.
While the girls were getting ready, Dinesh gave some gifts to the guys while they were doing the usual fella’s thing of getting ready in 2 minutes.
The service was held in the Queens Gallery at Gosfield Hall. I always like the bridal party entrance in this room, as it’s long and you can capture some great expression. A few laughs during the service along with a healthy dose of love.
After the service drinks and canapes in the library. I went and quickly set up some lighting for some family groups in front of the Christmas tree.
I loved the speeches. Just the right blend of humour and sincerity. There was a surprise for Dinesh after these, hidden downstairs was a band that he didn’t know about! and they were extremely good.
Throughly enjoyed meeting Dinesh and Hannah with this Gosfield Hall Christmas photography. This was my last wedding before the Christmas break, with a couple more straight after, between Christmas and New Year. I will post another one next week.
Dinesh, Hannah, congratulations to you both and my best wishes for a lifetime of happiness together.
