Gosfield Hall wedding photography.
If you have found this page you are probably looking for your perfect Gosfield Hall wedding photography. My name is Simon Carr – I have many years experience as a photographer and would love to capture your wedding story at this stunning Essex venue.
Gosfield Hall in Essex is one of my favourite venues in the county. Wedding photography at Gosfield Hall is always a pleasure. It’s just one of those venues that ticks all the boxes for me – Stunning rooms full of character and beautiful grounds with many options for great wedding photography.
Built by Sir John Wentworth in 1545 which makes it 468 years old. In it’s time it has hosted many famous dignitaries. One of which being Queen Elizabeth 1. The queen was close to the Wentworth’s particularly their daughter. Her favourite room was said to be the Queen Charlotte’s Gallery.
The bedrooms at Gosfield Hall are all named after it’s many owners. I have worked at many venues all over the UK, but cannot think of many that match the grandeur of the Rococo room. It’s a stunning backdrop for wedding photography and there cannot be any better options in Essex for bridal preparation wedding pictures!
Gosfield Hall was practically abandoned in the earlier part of the 20th century. It was used, during the second world war for a local base for troops.
Country House Weddings purchased the building in 2005 and have done a magnificent job of restoring the building. It now has the status of one of the finest wedding venues in the county of Essex.
