Gosfield wedding images. Loi and Anna.
I had a lot of fun producing this set of Gosfield wedding images. Loi and Anna, from San Francisco, had met me in London earlier in the year for some engagement pictures. We had a great couple of hours strolling around some of the Landmarks, taking some shots and chatting about, well everything! Life in the states, their forthcoming wedding and Anna’s Passion for Laduree macroons! (They featured on the wedding cake)
Gosfield Hall is a stunning Essex wedding venue. I tend to work there quite often with a lot of interest coming from couples who have found my previous blog posts about wedding that I have photographed there. It’s one of those venues that has a different character thoughout the seasons. If the weather isn’t playing ball, then there is a lot that you can still do inside. This was the case for these Gosfield Hall wedding images of Loi and Anna. Rain set in, so…..plan B!
The day started with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony in The Grand Salon. Anna looked amazing in a red sequin dress. Loi somewhat dapper as well.
The service was held in the Queens Room and was a great experience to photograph. Close. Emotional. A twist of humour.
After, drinks in the Library. The rain had set in so I opted to set up some lighting in The Grand Salon and do the wedding photography group shots inside.
Loi and Anna kept a busy schedule to make sure their guests were well entertained. The last thing I did before leaving in the evening was some outside shots at Gosfield Hall was some wedding images with sparklers. Last time I did this was at The Tower Hotel in London and I ended up with a slightly overzealous guest buring my ear! I’m glad to say that Loi and Anna’s friends were a little more careful and I came out of it unscathed. 🙂
A really great day at Gosfield Hall creating these wedding images. Loi and Anna have been an absolute pleasure to meet. My best wishes to you both.
