Hurlingham Club Wedding Photography: Rebecca and Nick
It’s been some time since I last photographed a wedding at London’s Hurlingham Club, so it was a pleasure to return on such a wonderful warm summers day, for the wedding of Rebecca and Nick.
After parking at The Hurlingham, I took a cab to Chelsea Harbour, where the girls were preparing for the day at The Wyndham Hotel. The last time I was in this hotel it was named The Conrad and I was a young art director working in Chelsea Harbour Yard!
Guests took the short walk from The Hurlingham Club, across Putney Bridge to Fulham All Saints Chruch. Sadly clad in scaffolding, but full of joy and warmth inside, with an expectant Nick and the arrival of Rebecca.
Behind the camera, my slight smile quickly became a broad one…I have never heard a vicar’s sermon that was so amusing and so skillfully composed – a true masterpiece and an absolute pleasure to experience.
The procession back to The Hurlingham’s stunning grounds was a great moment to photograph. Guests were met with a warm reception and the chance to catch-up with distant friends while relaxing before the meal. I took Rebecca and Nick off for some couple photography catching the best of the days light.
A truely wonderful day, a truely wonderful couple to work with.
I wish you both many happy years together.
