Photography St Ethedredas
Photography St Etheldredas is always an enjoyable experience. It has to be my favourite London church. Nestled between buildings, the exterior doesn’t reflect the grandeur of the interior with it’s stunning stained glass windows. It’s a wonderful church and a great venue with using The Crypt below for the London wedding reception.
Matt and Ange. A great couple. I had never met them in person. Just a Skype as they are based in Singapore. Ange and the girls beautified themselves in The Rookery, Smithfield before leaving for the church. A very cool boutique hotel and well placed for St Etheldredas weddings.
Guests were arriving when I got to the church. Matt looking very calm – not a hint of pre-service nerves. Ange and her father arrived in a white London cab.as Matt and his best man awaited the arrival of the bride at the front of the church. With the church layout Photography St Etheldredas gives you a prime view of the service. It’a always a pleasure to be there and experience the place and the resident choir.
After the service Jean-Louis and his dedicated team served drinks and canapes in Bleeding Heart Yard. I know this part of London very well. My early career as an advertising Art Director started just upstairs from The Bleeding Heart Bistro when I was fresh out of Art School.
I took Matt and Ange for a stroll around the side streets for a few portraits. I love the silhouette shot just off Back Hill. The reflection in the marble wall works really well. One for the folio.
A wonderful wedding. Wonderful people. The photography St Etheldredas was a pleasure and I look forward to the next trip back there.
