The Grange wedding photography
As I write this latest post it’s pouring down on a Sunday morning. Finally some respite from the smouldering heat that has been sitting over the UK for weeks on end. This story of The Grange wedding photography in glorious Hampshire was played out in those memorable summer conditions. A stunning English Heritage building nestled in a vast rural valley – A countryside lovers dream.
The countryside plays quite an important role in our couples lives. Dale and Emily. Dale, a gamekeeper with a big character and equally proportioned sense of humour. Emily, an English rose who just put so much effort into making their wedding day a visual feast for their guests….the florist must have been flat out for days to build that ‘Narnia’ like display inside The Grange.
So, the story started at Dale and Emily’s cottage. The guys getting ready with the normal relaxed pace and banter. Emily bought Dale a rather amazing wedding present. A vintage shotgun. I’m sure it will be slung under Dale’s arm on many a walk across the local fields.
Back at the venue – The Grange wedding photography
Back at The Grange the girls were in full getting ready mode. The outside temperature rising and the venue looking just stunning.
After a wonderful service at Northington Church it was back to the venue to start on some much anticipated The Grange wedding photography. This venue is just amazing. The interior having a decayed patina which Emily had styled with a mass or flowers. It looked incredible and inspired me to set-up some stylised group shots using some furniture and careful lighting.
What a great day. I finally got home, very tired, at 1am. But loved every moment of this wedding. I was joined on the day by ace film maker Hannah from Gionne Da Silva….who is now a fixture on my film makers reommended list.
