Wedding photography Braxted Park
During my travels as a wedding photographer, I get to see all sorts of flavours for room styling. This wedding photography Braxted Park, for the wonderful Sam and Grant, had very distinctive taste. Infact, each idividual table had it’s own amazing styling based on films. The attention to detail and sheer scale of the creativity, being a trademark of a talented Art Director – Grants occupation.
I met Grant and Sam the week before the wedding. We took a short walk from their home to the coast at Shoebury for a few later afternoon engagement pictures. It was a great opportunity to get to know them a little better and make the most of an Autumn sunny afternoon.
Roll on a week and the weather was still looking pretty good for wedding photography Braxted Park with Grant, Sam, their families and guests.
This was the first time that I had been to Braxted Park in Essex and shot a service in the church. All of my other weddings there have been in the orangery or in the garden. The church oozes character, but is pretty tiny, so I had to shoot from the back.
Back at the venue, guests enjoyed drinks and canapes while we photographed a few family groups. Winter time I tend to hold a few of these back and break out the flash guns in the evening, for more of a styled magazine look to these images. I think groups have been neglected by a lot of photographers over the past few years, seeing them as a necessity that needs to be got out of the way ASAP! Although my clients tend to book me for my natural style, I work hard with group shots giving them a much more styled look.
An amazing day with a great couple! Grant and Sam, my best wishes for a lifetime overflowing with happiness together.
